Hello! My name is Daniela Mabry and I am the OT Aerialist.
My mission is to educate all that are interested in mastering their actions or movements through a meaningful way, especially through the works of Aerial Artistry. But what makes me qualify?
The Background
Daniela’s profession in aerial performance boasts a decade-long career, showcasing her talent in various locations across the country, including Phoenix, Las Vegas, Atlanta, New York City, and Orlando. Her journey began in Gilbert, AZ, where she was a part of her high school’s marching band color guard team, honing her skills and passion for performance. Her involvement in this group even granted her the opportunity to march in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in 2004. She later joined the Academy Drum & Bugle Corp in 2006 and 2008, earning a world championship title for the 2006 Division II show.
The Road
In 2007, fueled by her own experiences, she began coaching performing arts immediately after graduating. Her passion for performance only continued to grow, extending into the world of aerial arts. By enhancing her students’ mental, physical, and spiritual strength, she witnessed the rewarding feeling of enabling others to achieve similar successes, sparking a newfound passion within her.
The Destination
Her relentless passion for expanding her knowledge on the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit led her to become an Occupational Therapy Practitioner. As a current Sensory Processing Specialist based in Orlando, FL, she takes pleasure in working with individuals of all ages, guiding them on how to mastering meaningful movements. Drawing from her occupational therapy expertise, she continues to coach aerials, recognizing the potential in combining both worlds to achieve greater heights.

“Combing two worlds of health and art”

The Fun
When the OT Aerialist is not doing aerials or occupational therapy, she volunteers her time to coaching local high school color guards or enjoying her time with family, friends, her dogs & her two children. She has a passion for loving life to it’s fullest, and strives to showcase it in all that she does.
